Dell out of warrenty

How does Dell handle out of WTTY repairs on monitors.

 

You send it to them, they fix it and send you a bill.

3 year warranty on dell monitors. FYI the warranty cannot be transferred at ALL. Learned this the hard way. You can't buy an extended one either.

All of the CSRs tell me 1yr with no system purchase.

If you bought just the LCD from Dell E&A it's 3 years.
