Dell or NEC?

From what a lot of people have said, if you don't like the aggressive AG coating on the Dell, the NEC might be better suited to your tastes. Also, is the Dell SB coupon not working now? You can pick it up straight from Dell for 1124 plus tax and free shipping. I don't know if you get the same no dead or bright pixel warranty through NE like you do from Dell either, I will let someone else comment on that one. And no refund from NE, Dell you have 30 days to try it out and send it back and get your money back. NE only does replacement.

The NEC, I have never owned one, so I can't tell you from personal experience how good they are. The U3011 on the other hand, I love mine.

It's 1,299.00 on the SB site atm I thought the last coupon expired. Is there a new one?

Yep, looks like that coupon has expired. Its been a week and a half since I got mine though, I had not checked back to see if it was still working. At lease it still has free shipping. I don't know about OP's tax situation. That might kill the Dell deal though even though its about 100 cheaper than NE, tax might be the problem.

Well how do individuals get a SB account? I have an account but it's a personal one...

Also...

how noticeable is a 6m response time as compared to 2 or 3m?

I just used my place of employment as the business. they don't ask for any confirmation or anything.

Yeah, they ask for a name, put anything, and just use your delivery address. Nothing says you can't have a home business.
