Dell Optiplex 780 - Media Test Failure at PXE

I know what the error means. I have the network cable plugged in, and the network WORKS when Windows is booted. I need to image these PC's, but I get that "Media Test Failure" during the PXE boot. Without PXE, I can't image.

So why would it do that? Why would it fail during PXE, but work perfectly fine when Windows is booted?

And how do I fix it?

I don't think that's the issue here. Other PC's in the room work just fine, all connected to the same switch.

I am a little confused. Booting a Windows-based desktop computer off network is very rare nowadays, even though it is still an option in many BIOSes.

What exactly are you trying to do? And how are you going about trying to achieve it?

WDS is still a perfectly good reason.
