Dell notebook video cards

I just bought a dell 8600 w/ a 5650 geforcefx video card. I heard that the 9600 pro will be coming out soon. Should i cancel and wait for this card to come out? I got a good deal on the notebook, but is the 9600p that much better than the geforce? I know about the dx9 issues, so what's the bottom line?

If you're gaming on the thing, the 5650 sucks. I'd get the 9600 if possible.

Oh HELL yeah. The mobile version of the GeForce (5650) is really not up to snuff. The Mobile Radeon 9600p performs almost 100% better than the 5650. I cant find the review that I read on Toms about comparing the latest Mobility and GeForce Go chips. But in some tests the 9600 hammered the 5650 by a crazy 230% ( two hundred and thirty). I would definately cancel your order and choose the 9600.

Why didn't i find these benchmarks before i ordered!?! man...nvidia sucks now. crappy ass geforce. I wanted to use my laptop to play HL2 and doom3. It's pretty much a top of the line lappie. i guess i can return the laptop when i get it. I've already waited a month for this notebook. Is there anyway to swap out a video card in a notebook?
