dell motherboard with split power supply connector and standard atx PS

I have a Dell motherboard that uses a split power supply connector when interfacing the motherboard. As I have added more components to the system, I have run into the problem of the power supply not being able to power everything. I am planning of getting a new case and power supply, but the ATX connector will not work with my motherboard without an adapter. Does anyone know where I can get the adapter or know where I can get information on making one?

Thanks in advance.

I had to buy a new BX board for my P3 866 because I couldn't find any adapters that you are referring too, and since this type of power connector is only used by Dell, I don't think any company would make an adapter like this... To my knowledge, there are no adapters like this...

AFAIK you must order the proprietary P/S from Dell, or get a new case. I would opt for a new case.

Are you sure your existin P/S cannot handle your load (hehe)? I saw several ads where the standard Dell 235w P/S was giving juice to a fully loaded Dimension XPSB tower, and has been running for over a year without any shutdowns.
