Dell modular bay battery: 600M and 8600 use the same one?

Subj. Basically do dell lappies use the same second modular bay battery that replaces the optical drive, or are they different for every model?

All of the D series Lattitudes are the same, I'm not sure about the inspirons.
 
I guess another question would be whether the optical drives used in Dells are the same.

"48WHr Additional Modular Battery for Dual Battery Support" is what I am looking for.
 
I found out that apparently the modular battery fits all of the -

For Dell Inspiron Models: D500, D505, D600, D800 modular bay
For Dell Latitude Models: 500m/505m/600m/8500/8600 modular bay
Precision M60 modular bay
