Anyone ever install SSD on Dell Mini 1010 netbook? I noticed my Netbook start to run bit slower after install Windows 7 last May.

Not a Dell 1010, but my Intel 80GB drive should be arriving tomorrow to go into my HP Mini 110 net book! It is running Win7 Starter, I'm sure it will speed up load times immensely!

Apparently you need to remove the keyboard (Or at least flip it over) to gain access to the harddrive.

Instructions for removing the keyboard:

Instructions for replacing the hard drive after removing keyboard:

Hope this helps!

Too bad you cannot upgrade the RAM in that Net book...

Thank you for quick reply I am aware of RAM I am disappointed. 80GB is too small for everyday usuage.. I think 128 or 160GB is good enough. And thanks for the two links.

I put a Kingston V100 64GB into a Dell Inspiron Mini 1012. Made it snappier. Already had 2GB RAM.

Fresh install of Windows, updates and drivers takes around 15GB.
