I'm planning to buy a Dell Mini 10v netbook from their refurb site. I haven't yet found one that has a N280 process or AND a 1505 wireless card (which supports N). If I had to pick, which option/combo would I have performance (yes, I have a N router in my house where I will primarily be using this).

Thanks!

The NIC's going to have very little effect on overall system performance. Unless you're planning to stream HD video (which is doubtful since the 10v and its atom cpu is going to laugh at you if you try to watch true hi-def content) or have a need to constantly transfer large files, go with the CPU. You can always drop in the N card later if you really need it.

Depends on which is cheaper. The N280 is barely faster than the 270 and you probably won't be transferring large files so Wireless N isn't that necessary. So it all boils don't to cost.

Well, I just ordered one about 20 minutes ago. They had a Mini 10v with a N280 802.11g WinXP machine for $239 before the 15% off coupon. It wound up being about a $40 diff to find the combo of both, but I figure for the money, this was the best bang for the buck.

Thanks everyone!
