Dell M170 6800 ultra issue.

I have a dell XPS M170 with a 6800 ultra and when I updated the drivers for the video card Verticle sync was no longer working. I turned it on but when loaded up a game it went way over 60. Is this a known bug or is there something else I can do that will make it work correctly?

It went way over 60 what? Degrees? If so, how high did it go? 60 degrees isn't really that hot. My card pushes 80 under full load. How do you know V-Sync isn't working? You said you enabled it... is there still tearing?
