Nice specs, I upgraded mine from 256MB to 512MB RAM.

Battery life isn't as great as I thought it would be but it remains plugged into the wall 98% of the time.

Completed Ebay listings!

I just bought a 600m to replace the 8100 and I love it. I offered it to one of my best friends and if he says no (offered it @ $850 and I will upgrade the memory) then it will get listed here and if it does not go here then it will be off to ebay!

If it's got a 1 year warrantee I wouldn't worry about it being refurbished. Make sure you get them to match the specs you had before though.

Well the only things I am missing is the 512 of ram and the Floppy.

I had some accessories for the 8100 BUT I was gonna sell it when it came back so no biggie there.

update 5/14 - I PM'd the guy I bought the laptop from and he checked his dell account and NOW we have the INVOICE HERE IT IS IN ALL OF IT"S PDF GLORY!!! according to dell the laptop is $1800

That is seriously overpriced but it is MSRP. I have the same laptop except for 256MB RAM and the better WSXGA display. Mine cost $748 with free shipping :)

So we can double that to get the actual street price ?

I figure it is worth $800-1000

i have no problems with dell refurb laptops. been going that way since my first purchase (with the exception of taking advantage of the $750 off coupon for my 700m). they're just as good as new laptops, only cheaper.

regardless, that MSRP is pretty good for what you got.

I have checked Ebay and refurbs seem to be getting 1K + Shipping so I am really hoping to get somewhere in that range.

Although would prefer to sell it quicker I guess. I will throw it up on FS/FT tommorow if my buddy says no

I have some other stuff to go and I was waiting for the laptop to get here. Lathough I was expecting a much crappier laptop ;)
