I bought a dell 2407 lcd a little over a yr ago off of ebay. Everything was fine with it for several months until one day I turned it off and never could turn it back on. It was actually just the power button that was broke. It no longer had a "detent" in it. It was almost like the button was stuck in the off position. Nevertheless I contacted the seller and he gave me the business # for dell as well as his order # and everythinng went smooth in regards to exchanging it under warranty after that.
now, here i am, months later with the exact same issue. Has anyone dealt with dell on multiple warranty claims? The original lcd had a 3 yr warranty. I never thought to ask when I set it up the first time if that warranty was transferrable, etc. Dell Business is closed today so I won't get to talk to them until tomorrwo morning. Just wanted to see if anyone had gone through similar or knew what dell usually does in this situation.
