Dell LCD Flickering?

I have a Dell 151LP LCD monitor set up with an AIW radeon 9700pro and all of a sudden I am seeing what I would term as "flickering" on my monitor. Similar to what you will see on a CRT as it begins to weaken. Can anyone tell me if this is my monitor of possibly a glitch with the card/monitor combo?

DVI connection? Some people had flickering problems with ATI on the analog connector.

DVI connector with a VGA adapter...... hope that helps

Hmmm. DVI/VGA adaptor. Anyway to eliminate that as being the problem?

The AC adapter (brick) on the power cord . Sometimes if they are to close to the monitor or gey to hot they will cuase problems. It could also be the adapter or a bad driver. Check to make sure the proper driver is there and you have it set properly for the lcd ie. resolution and refresh rate,
