Dell Latitude X1 owners: memory choice?

I just ordered the Latitude X1 with just the 256Mb that comes with it and am going to expand it with an extra 1Gb. From what I have read, DDR2 400 or DDR2 533 should work so here are the choices available from Newegg. The Transcend stick gets good reviews but has anyone used the Kingston in their X1? Besides being cheaper, I would like to go with a known name.

Thanks in advance.

It shouldn't really matter. As you may or may not know, a few key companies actually manufacture their RAM and everyone else buys it to put their name on it. Get the cheapest stuff out there, as long as the CL rating is the same and its got a lifetime warranty.

Are you ditching the 256MB? If so just get DDR2 533.
If you're keepin it, get the same speed as the 256MB stick.

I think the 256Mb that comes with the X1 is hardwired so you cannot remove it. It has one more slot where you can add the memory.
