The keyboard on my dell latitude D620 is going crazy.
When typing (in any program) the caps lock will go on and off with almost every keystroke.
I have hooked up multiple external key boards and got the same problem while using them.
I have tried uninstalling the devices from hardware manager and reinstalling them.
I am running a virus scan now to see if it finds anything.
Also, the "Caps Lock" key is not responsive. i.e. when i hit "Caps Lock", it does not change the state of the caps lock.

Anybody got any other ideas I can try before I go crying to dell for help?

no need for a complete replacement laptop, do you have the in home warranty? I've had them come out and replace the keyboard for free.
