Dell Latitude c640 with Weak Hinge - DIY Fix?

So I just bought a used Dell c640 off eBay. This listed described "hinges loose" but when I got it I quickly realized that this thing wasn't going to be usable. Unless the screen is perfectly parallel to the force of gravity it flops over.

I've googled this and figured it would be a common DIY fix but so far have only found people that replaced the hinges to fix the problem. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to tighten up the hinge?
