The only grips I can spot are the lack of a Floppy drive and USB 2.0 interface.


BTW, Is Dell considered as a good Notebook manufacturer?

I don't favor the C5x0 or C6x0 latitudes very much. From what I've seen the build quality is terrible and the keyboard flexes. The model you've linked to is also likely to run hot and slow.

I suggest this one:

Latitude D500

The keyboard still sucks on the D series, but the build quality is otherwise good.
