I just got a new laptop through my school today. I got a dell latitude 120L. Has the pentium m (dothan)1.73ghz . The motherboard is a dell, model 0RJ272 intel chipset i915gms/i910glm, 30gb harddrive and 512mb ddr2. I'm not sure were to look on the dell website to see how much memory my laptop can support. Would love to put it up to at least 1gb, and I defintly want to upgrade that measely 30gb harddrive to somethen along at least 5400rpm 80gb harddrive or if possible a 7200 rpm 80gb harddrive. Will anykind of notebook ide ata-6 harddrive work in my dell laptop, or do I have to get a harddrive from dell?

Your limit is more than likely 2GB. Any laptop HDD will work, though be sure you don't have SATA connector on your laptop HDD. If it's SATA, it will be harder to find a cheap drive.

The crucial.com website memory selector knows what kind of RAM you need. Ask nicely and it will tell you.
