I do not know what setting I tweaked to do this, but for some reason, my laptop will not recognize any printers when I plug them into any of my USB ports anymore.
I used to be able to plug in just about any printer and they would be instantly recognized, but lately when I plug in a printer, nothing happens, no recognition that something has been plugged in, nothing. Now, when I try my thumbdrive or any other USB device in the same port - No Problem.
No idea what is going on here, perhaps somebody can help me back to automatic printer detection.
I am running Windows XP Pro SP2.
