We need a Dell laptop that's powerful enough to do Powerpoint slideshows with videos on the slides.

Is that Dell Mini 10 enough? Basically looking for the cheapest laptop that can handle that sort of thing. And it has to be Dell.

Mini 10 is ok as long as you can get by with a VGA out- it lacks a DVI/HDMI out. It can do the actual job of making slides if you buy Office with it.

I am assuming you mean make the slides then present them with a projector. If you want to show people the slides on the machine then I hope it is for a sharp shooter convention because a 10 inch screen is really small.

It's to hook up to a projector. At my office, someone had the idea to get these desktop replacement things that weigh like 10 pounds. It's ridiculous.
