How are the keyboards on dells? Like the 600m or the 300m. Are they the same. I had a scarry experience yesterday at the metrion's sonystyle store in SF. The keyboard bent. Now I realize that I must pay strict attention to keyboards.

I know IBM has the best keyboards.
 
Also, how do they compare to gateway notebooks. 99% of my notebook time has been spent on gateways and I do not mind their keyboard on the 450 series.
 
I owned a 600m, it bent under pressure. I was shocked. I paid $1200 for it then I expect something worth $1200, not some cheap flimsy mass produced garbage. Bear in mind I care much were my money goes. The 300m is made from Samsung. I did also own a 180B5 VprMatrix which is an Samsung notebook also. I really loved the keyboard. It was and is comparable to my current T40.
