what's the big deal with dvi for an lcd monitor? my 19" samsung LCD monitor is vga and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, even in gaming.

The video card and LCD are digital, VGA is analog. D->D is better than D->A->D

Use DVI cable that ship with monitor. It work perfect with this computer.

Does it also come with a VGA cable? I will need to hook up a server to it.

If you're using an LCD, you have no business using VGA. DVI should be your only option. There is no comparison.

While thats definitely true..

On 15 and 17" monitors you can at least get away with using VGA..

Anything above 1280x1024 and DVI should be the ONLY option..

VGA @ 1920x1200 looks bad. At least on multiple LCD'S I have seen with it..
