Hey Everyone, This is my first post.

I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 9300 notebook for school. It has a 17 inch TrueLife Widescreen display and a 128mb X300 mobile Radeon. The performance is great, but when it comes to web browsing in internet explorer, screen images are extremely distorted. I have a picture to show everyone what I mean. Pay attention to the button links and pictures.

Any help in resolving this problems is GREATLY Appreciated!

For starters, I'm assuming you're running at native resolution? If so, try increasing the DPI of the monitor and see if that helps. Also, check out Dell's Internet Explorer Scaling utility: Here

Hope that helps

You could switch the DPI down to 96, the text and IE graphics will no longer be distorted, but it may become very difficult to read the smaller text sizes.

As for DPI, a 17" WUXGA monitor should be running at 133DPI. If you want to continue using IE, just download the Dell fix for IE text/graphics size as posted by HermDogg or just use Firefox, Opera (or any of the other available webbrowsers) since they don't have this problem.

Thats just internet Explorer's problem.

Use a different browser.

I would use Firefox, but some sites have scripts that dosen't support it. I use firefox for all my other browsing needs.
