I don't think you read or understood my posts in that thread. Read very very carefully.

Yes the Dell Smallbiz Rebates link works and you can download their generic rebate form in pdf or doc format.

However there is no mention of the $250 during order, the order confirmation or shipment confirmation ... Sooo this deal is DEAD as of a few hours ago.
 
The rebate form is kinda interesting. No amount of rebate is mentioned on the form...so I guess they have to totally rely on the system packing slip. The problem I have with this is....I purchased my Inspiron at the last minute (10:59 pacific time) literally. When I click the link, the rebate still shows...but as I proceed my purchase, it just disappears 🙁 I hope Dell would still honor the rebate.
