Dell Inspiron 9300 - SC Card Reader Woes...

My trusty 9300 has developed an issue where I attempt to write to an SC Card with the built in reader/writer.

As soon as I click send to or paste it blue-screens and instantly shuts down.

This never happened previously and I've no real clue why this has suddenly occurred.

I can still "read" files on the SD Card reader without any grief - it's just writing or copying to the drive.

I think that the driver is messed up. Check to see if there's an update driver from Dell.

Was back in the UK for a bit but now returned!

I just ended up getting a Sandisk reader that can cope with the 4GB SD card that I use and no bluescreen problems for now.

Will check for a driver update
