Dell Inspiron 8200 owners

Friend of mine has this laptop and it doesn't have the mini wireless card installed.I see that the True mobile 1350 will work with the ini file fix and the Intel 2200 would work also.I hear that the 2200 has alot of problems.Anyone want to comment on which one I should put in her laptop? Thanks

You should be able to use any of these in the 8200.
I personally refurb'd an 8200 with a 2915 pulled from a diff machine that got dropped down a flight of stairs. It worked fine.

Older Intel drivers did have some WPA2 and DHCP issues. Current driver vers seem OK.
I do prefer to use WindowsXP Wireless Config over the Intel ProSet though.

You *SHOULD* be able to use the LATER Dell TrueMobile driver set ( from machines after the 8200 ) or the Broadcom drivers on the Airforce cards.
