I'm trying to fix my aunt's 5100... It won't recognize the power adapter. I'm trying to use the targus universal 90w adapter, but it won't use that either. When it powers on it says that "the power adapter attached to your system is not supported. the system will run on battery power only and the batter will not be charged".
Is there any fix to this? The targus adapter says it is built for the 5100, and the adapter she gave me won't work either (altho there is a chance it was from her dell she had before this one).
