I have this dell that cant access the internet either through wireless or hard connect to my system.
On the wireless, it makes the connection to the router. The icon shows connection is excellent at xx mb/sec.
The error I get is that the IP address is unable to be obtained when I try to repair the wireless connection.
The network settings are set to DHCP.
It used to connect no problems, then all of a sudden it just stopped. Thought it was a virus, ran all kinds of stuff on it, cleaned it up, but theis issue is still there.
Also, another laptop is able to use the wireless connection, so I dont think it is the router or the IP of the router that is the issue.
