Unless you are gaming or major multi tasking, then what difference does it make? I've owned 2 Celeron machines and both run better than my mom's Pentium that runs at a higher speed.

You won't see any credit from Dell, it's a seperate deal. Are you registered with ebates, I hope?
Ebates mails you the rebate check every three months.
If you did it correctly you will receive an email from ebates when the order is processed showing how much you will get back from that purchase.

Hey guys, I'm a newbie, so bear with me...

I'm just wondering, can I still buy Small business stuff even if i'm not buying it for a business? Also, what does FW stand for /wrt the e-mail coupons?

Yes, you can buy even if you are not a business. Where it asks for your business name, put in "none"
FW means fatwallet.com, another bargain hunting site.

I decided to purchase extra memory, but not as part of the system. In order to get double memory for free, you have to give up the $100 rebate, no thanks! By purchasing it seperately you can get a 256 stick for about $37, that's after using the 15% discount. The discount works on up to 5 items in your order.
I can install it myself and have 384 megs of ram.

it does? how do you know Popsicle?

Because they don't make 2.0 ghz mobile celerons? hehe. No seriously all the budget Dells are desktop cpus now. Which means they've actually gotten thicker and heavier w/ this latest generation. I just got a 2650 right before they quit selling them and its cooler, lighter and thinner then the 1100 and 5100 "Desknotes"
