Dell Home: Dimension 2350 with free goodies

From Here

2.2GHz P4
256megs DDR
60gig 7200 rpm HDD
15" FP display
48x cd-rom AND 48x CD-RW
2 year warranty and service (3 year is 100 more minus 50 rebate)

$849 minus 150 rebate = 699
unfortunately, shipping is extra, plus there may be tax depending on your state -- anyone have a way to get rid of shipping or coupon to reduce the price?

It's not crapping. Crapping would be this deal sucks, blah, blah, blah. He is being truthful about it and asking for coupons is not allowed according to the forum rules.

that was just a FYI post... no thread crapping 🙂, i just thought I would let ppl know that there are better deals out there...

thanks for trying to help though

where are the free goodies?

is this a hot deal or are you trying to get help on a purchase you are making?

btw the dell 4550 p4 2.53 etc is a better deal i think.... $499 after rebates and add on a aftermarket lcd or even a dell lcd during one of their deals for a kick a$$ system 🙂

He's not thread crapping.

indeed, hes just filling his ego by playing forum mod.

does it feel good to be so powerful....?
probably better than it will feel if you get a vacation for ignoring forum rules. If you've been lurking since October you should know by now that AT forum rules are not "opt-in" 🙂

I got a 2350 last month under a different deal ($349 after MIR shipped with 17" flat screen monitor).

The thing to be aware of is that the 2350 only has PCI slots. There are a few PCI video cards running around out there (a GeForceFX 5200 Ultra and some GeForce4 MX 440s that I'm aware of), but it's important to know you're not going to be slapping the biggest and baddest card in this PC.

I bought it for a PVR box because it's quiet, but I was disappointed in not being able to use an ATI AIW 8500DV with it (I currently have a Creative PVR card and a GF4 MX 440 PCI card doing the trick).
