Never trust dell rebate. There is always a excuse to void your rebate, plus it is a really headache to call dell customer service.
 
If you're talking about the rebate on the $60 desktop from last year, it's a little bit different than this one.

I got one of these Axim's when they first came out, and the rebate took about 4 weeks, which is better than most MIR's I submit. Of course, YMMV.
 
I submitted my MIR in early February. Checking www.rebatestatus.com shows:

"We have received and processed your submission. You should receive your rebate or premium item soon. Please check back again to receive the date your rebate or premium item was mailed."

BTW: There's definitely some 5% off codes circulating around FW. Also, since the rebate is thru 3-19, there's a good chance a 10% or possibly 15% off code might become available ... Or maybe one of those $x off $300/$400 that are stackable ... Keep your eyes peeled ....
 
You should look for the stackable coupons, b/c sometimes the 5% and 10% coupon codes will NOT work on the AXIM.

AXIM and extra discounts seem to be mutually exclusive. 😉

it might work if you order it from software & periph.. you kno... as a whole item..
 
Screw that, there is a new stackable coupon $35 off $300 coupon. I bought mine without the rebate.
Do you know if I can order another one today and return that one to my previous order?

I'm waiting (hoping) that Dell sends me a cancellation e-mail for the $0.07 17" LCDs I ordered with a COMPENSATION I'M SORRY WE SCREWED UP coupon ... to use with this.

I have noticed on thing on the axim 400mhz. When you do a search and add it to your cart so the coupon works. When you complete your purchase the $50 rebate does not show up on the shipping slip.

When reading the PDF of the $50 rebate. It explicitly says that it has to be listed on the Packing Slip.

I wonder if I will get the rebate.

I did call up Dell.. Told them about it. Some green horn rep adjusted my account so that I get a $50 instant rebate. So now my cost is $318-$50
