Just received a Dell Dimension 2400 with a 40GB 7,200 RPM hard drive. Does anyone know which manufacturer they are using in their boxes?
 
sometimes maxtor, sometimes wd... why don't you open the case and find out? or google the ID string from windows hardware manager
