Dell hard disk question

Hello,
I'm not too much of a techy so maybe you can help me out. I have an IBM Travelstar IDE DARA-206000 hard disk, but it's too small. I want something like 12 or if possible even more Gigs of space. Can I just put this in my Latitude Cpi? Is there any limit on the size of HD that is supported or doesn't this make sense ;-)

I would try to contact Dell to see how big of a hard drive the motherboard in your laptop supports. They should be able to tell you.
