Dell/Gateway Windows XP Home

It's grey market. They might as well sell NFR and Academic to the public as well. :roll:

The software is cheap since it was bundled with a Dell or Gateway PC, and Microsoft offers large OEM's a substantial discount for bundling windows with a new pc purchase.

Your "newegg" copy is not bundled/branded software. If you bought one from Dell it would be the same thing you got from the egg. They won't sell you their "branded" software, especially if you didn't purchase one of their computers.
