I just ordered an E521... expected ship date says Oct 23rd.... I leave for my honeymoon on Oct 28th...
 
they're not. well, more to the point, they're probably a point 3 confidence intervals out. which means that most likely you'll have the system in your hands before that date.

edit: and it's not like we didn't have a thread addressing this same thing once this week already
