Dell E207WFP?

So right now on Dell's site, there is the Dell E207WFP for ~220 dollars + free shipping.
I was set on getting a 19 inch but since the Dell 20 incher's price is so low, I thought I'd get the Dell instead. So i searched reviews online. A lot of reviews says it sucks.
And i was wondering, how does it compare against these 19 inchers? Picture Quality Wise

It's your standard TN panel. Cheap to make, and cheap in quality.

The Dell 2007wfp is the next step up because of the MVA or IPS panel (it's a lottery, don't know which one although IPS is 1000x better).

It depends on what your going to be doing with the monitor. If all you really do is surf the web and play a few games then sure, the Dell E207wfp will probably be fine.
If your doing picture editing or something of that sort, maybe not so great.

Since all of them use TN Panels... Does that mean they have about the same pic Quality?
BTW I'm upgrading from a 17" Samsung Syncmaster 710 MP... I should see a huge difference right?

A 20in WS monitor is a good choice.
And to me a TN panel is a TN panel but you'll probably see difference between them but not by that much.

Dell makes good monitors. There 2007wfp is a great monitor (and so is their 24in 2407wfp too).
Just think of it as you get what you pay for. I'm not saying that the Dell panel will be worse because it costs less then the two 19in models.

And another good thing will be the pixels won't be fsck'n huge either like on the 19in monitors. So I'd say go for it. Have you read the sticky up top on LCDs yet?

Yeah I've read the Sticky on LCD ... overwhelming but VERY informative.

I guess I'll go with the E207WFP. Cheap price and higher resolution than the 19 inchers

just got the E207WFP... not that bad for its price and size .. overall i'm happy with my purchase
