Dell E1705 TFT

I have a Dell inspiron 9400/E1705.

I'm doing lots of Photoshop work at the moment and I'm thinking of buying a seperate TFT to plug into the laptop. Would be looking to spend around $250.

Would I even get much of a benefit from a seperate TFT in this price range and if so any suggestions?
