I think you can only get the 1505 with integrated video, so if it doesn't matter to you, I'd go with the 1505 because you would be in a much better upgrade path.

I can't remember where but I saw some benchmark showing a clocked dothan outperforming a similarly clocked core solo. But since the 1505 has the better specs, I'd get that then buy a cheap t2300 in the future once the chip becomes affordable on the second hand market.

Mike, Go Core Duo, only a $50 premium, currently $699 for a base Core Duo, upgrade memory and HD as your budget allows.

Photoshop is multi-processor aware so you will get significantly more performance. Also if you shoot RAW, RSE/P is also multi-processor aware.

My base E1505 Core Duo arrives tomorrow.

these were both in the Dell Flyers recently and arent for me, they were $799 each.
