Dell Dvd Burners

Like all other OEMs, it often varies. They build by price and availability. Device Mangler is usually a good place to find out what you have, I've found it to be spot-on most times I've looked.
 
Mine shipped with a LG drive, but it died after about 8 months of heavy use. I got a NEC 3550 as a replacement from Dell and it's been solid. Probably 250 discs thus far. :thumbsup:
