Yes but the point is that they are drawing people onto their site (whether they buy the Axim or some other product) with these unbelievable prices. I realize that it is unreasonable to ship @ that cost, that isn't my problem here. It's that it keeps happening over and over and over.
I guess they need some new people running their website.
Because this is not good advertising. Price mistakes that are not honored do not sell product ever. When a price mistake occurs, people do not buy secondary items, they only attempt to buy the item with the price mistake.
If they did attempt to buy any additional items (unlikely), they will cancel their entire order when the price mistake is not honored. This is not like a loss leader bait-and-switch at a car dealership -- that would be if your order went through anyway but at full retail price.
This is not how Dell wants to draw people to their site... this thread here alone is proof of that.

Then Dell either needs a new HR person or get someone who's competent to handle their web updates because if it's not shady, it's at least pathetic for a large corporation to not have their sh!t together.
LOL! I've never seen a large corporation that did have its sh!t together.

You know what I mean. Name me one other company that has this many problems with their catalogs and web site orders.

I didn't say it was excusable. I just said it was preposterous to think that they did it on purpose. That is all.

pulse8, obviously I can't, but I also can't point out any websites that do as much business online as Dell either.

Dell is the only company that makes so many mistakes in such a short period of time.
