As ashamed as I am to admit that I am an owner of new dimension 9100 with 512 ram ddr2 533 4200 from dell original nanya. I bought from newegg the corsair value ram

and according to crucial.com it is compatible with the system. I had gotten the system and put it in on day 1 worked beautifully with 2.5 gb ripping stuff like the wind until 3 days ago system wont post and dell tech yanked my corsair value ram as problem with system not post. To date crucial still list this type of ram fully compatible with dell 9100. pls help. should I just give up throw the corsairs out and order cheap ram from dell at outrageous prices for upgrade? also tried to put in with current 512 factory ram in different slots, only works with factory ram not with any combo of both anymore, or corsair alone in either slot config. thanks you all very much for your excellent input.
