So I've done some research around about RDRAM for upgrades in a dell dimension desktop. Using Sisoft Sandra I have gotten the following info about the current memory:

1. Can I safely assume that this is the 533 Mhz FSB model of the dimension 8200?
2. I went onto the dell website and they say to use this memory.
3. I know that it is ECC memory with a 40ns tRAC.
4. I've seen a lot of "dimension compatible" RDRAM, but it all just seems like a scheme to make people pay more for memory because it's "compatible." I was looking at this Samsung RDRAM on newegg and it has all the right specs as far as I can tell. Would it work from what you can tell? I know I would have to get 2 of them.
5. I've been doing a lot of research on memory for the AMD platform and basically I have gotten the impression that if you go over 2 sticks of memory, you have to run in 2T mode which actually slows the computer down. Would this apply to RDRAM on a P4 system? This addition of memory would be mostly to help with gaming.
