This is a good deal if you do your research. The LCD is normally 299$...if you don't like it well then _maybe_ you can give it to a friend.

So for about 200$ (well 300-350 since that lcd isn't really worth what Dell charges for it) you get

1) DDR2 ATA PCIE mother board

2) other stuff that makes it work just fine until you can afford a smokin PCIe ati x800 xl or nvidia 6800 ultra and a 7.1 soundcard and whatever else floats your boat.

For 350$ the box was as good as any functional box I could find with that processor and upgradeable nonlegacy slots, so although I would prefer to be cool and have AMD, I had to go with my pocketbook and jump on this deal.

By the way I just opened my Small business...first thing I am gonna do is figure out a name...once I do that I can order from Dell Small business... What is my business model? not sure...maybe a lemonade stand? Selling lint from my clothes dryer on Ebay? Dell online orders do not usually even check out your business model...why would they care? Its just another marketing gimmick to make more off of ignorant people who do not benifit from the mass communication people here provide. _Thanks_

If you have any legitimate way to get a monitor and such an upgradable motherboard with a decent processor and TWO year at home service, please PM me to let me know so I can cancel this order and jump on that one instead.

Thanks!!

Definitely use your name as your business.... if you get a rebate, how the heck do you think you're going to endorse a check made out to "drier lint wholesalers, inc."

That was changed almost 2 years ago, Dell now has generic rebate forms where you specify the "payable to" name.

This has AGP now doesn't it?
It always has, you're thinking of the entry level 2400/3000 :)
No the 4700 has integrated graphics with a PCI express slot, twice as much googleflps per nanosecond as AGP 8x (suppossedly)

See link text at customization page listing ati X300se PI express or nvidia 6800 PCI Express options
