Dell Dimension 4600 for $799 + LCD 2001FP for $560

Woah. Is this right?



If you configure a basic Dell Dimension 4600 in Small Business, the price is $799 after instant and mail-in rebates.

Under monitor selection, the third option is:

SAVE $150! 20.1 in 2001FP Dell Ultrasharp? Digital Flat Panel Display [add $560 or $15/month1]

I believe this is the same one that's going for $750 right now, but for some weird reason you can also opt to buy the LCD at $710 (this is what the $150 is deducted from).

So if you can find someone who wants just a computer and has their own monitor, it'd be a pretty hot deal if you can snag the LCD for yourself. =)

Actually, never mind. They have another Dell 4600 system configured without the monitor for $499 and under the monitor option it says:

SAVE $150! 20.1 in 2001FP Dell Ultrasharp? Digital Flat Panel Display [add $860 or $23/month1]

Bleh, this $300 difference cancels each other out.

But then again, you can always get the one configured for $499 and just buy the monitor for $750. Oh well. Nothing to see here. Move along.
