Dell Dimension 3000 Mobo Upgrade

I think I finally got the right one to replace my crappy Dell Mobo. It's MicroATX so it should work. However, I want to know if this will be fully compatible with my Dell.

It might work, but you'll have to do some splicing for the case lead. The case is proprietary, so the board may not line up with the mounting fixtures, and you may have to leave the new backplate off. Another problem is that some dell pc's search for a dell bios during bootup, as the windows cd is also proprietary.

Youll also need a new CPU since the one you linked to is an AMD mobo and your PC has an INtel CPU.

And to be legit, youll need a new license for the OS since the OS is tied to the original mobo its installed on, in your case the Dell mobo.
