Dell Dimension 2400

I just reformatted my sisters computer (Dell Dimension 2400), and everything went fine until I got to the desktop. What I am wondering is, my sister lost her dell CD (The emergency recovery Windows XP dell cd) so she got one from a friend. I don't think it matters, but can someone clarify this? When I try to connect to the internet, it just says server not found. In the device manager, the "Other device" and all of it's sub categories have yellow exclamation marks. Ethernet controller, Multimedia Audio Controller, and Video Controller are all marked. I tried updating the drivers with the Dell Resource CD's which originally came with my sisters PC. Does anyone know what's wrong? Or how I can fix this? Thanks.

Dell has motherboard, network, video, audio drivers somewhere in their support area, it sounds like you need to download those and force Windows to replace any drivers it is using now.

Are you sure those aren't the friend's CDs too? Either way it sounds like wrong drivers or no drivers for everything with an "!"
