Here are my thoughts on those parts:

- CPU: Good
- Cooler: Fairly loud, but possibly OK due to space considerations. I would try the stock cooling solution in the dell first
- GPU: Kind of expensive for a GTX 970 with a reference cooler, but I suppose that you do need one for a Dell stock case.
- SSD : Overpriced and outdated. A new Samsung 850 EVO 500GB is $178.

That's amazing I only paid $142.00 for the Intel SSD! I saw the Samsung but wasn't sure so I ordered the Intel thinking it was a safe choice. The Mushkin wasn't available from eBay.

At $142 it is a decent price, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. The overpriced comment was based on the link which showed it as $210 at the time.

Yeah I'm not sure the Dell PSU is going to handle all that. I didn't notice until now that you were intending to upgrade the GPU. Might want to have a decent 500W ~ 600W aftermarket PSU priced-out and ready to buy just in case.

my graphics card is nVidia GeForce gte 770 with 2gb ram

If that's correct, he must have upgraded the PSU some time ago. Of course, if he got a number wrong and it's a GT 720 or something, that would be a problem.

Everything went together fine! Come to find out the power supply wasn't upgraded, it had 300w bought a 500w at best buy. The oversized heatsink/cooling was a trick but it went in ok. The SSD drive . . what can I say WOW! I've never seen MSWord load so fast! If i blinked i missed it! Didn't have/couldn't find a mount for it in the tower. Found a metal flange with one hole and screwed it to that with a tie wrap or two! and the nVidia GTX 970 . . . looks like real live TV playing witcher3, STUNNING graphics! Thanks everyone for your input!
