ITS THE MONITOR 🙁 :| :disgust: :Q 😕

honestly i cant express my frustration with this company right now

well i had a back light issue i was on the phone with em for 2 hours geting bounced around yaddaaa yaddaa yadda finnaly i gess i got the floor manager who finnaly did a little trouble shooting that led to them agreeing with my backlight issued and honored the warranty so they sent me anothere 2005fpw right away but them never gave me a shiping forum so i could send it back. or what ever they call it.. so now i got 2 have had it for 3 months. Now the funny thing is they never fixed the problem i got a referb that still has the same backlight issue i told them to give me the Revised addition but i ll think i just keep my mouth shut for 2. But to simpithise with yea, Dell is the worst people i have ever delt with for geting them to honor a warranty.. specaly when you just bought the monitor don't be scard to get force full with em just don't use cuss words.. tell em how you will never buy form them agin and will never recomend them to your many friends yada yeada yeadda.. and don't hang UP!

o and the facted my dad works for the IRS as a auditor and has to deal with bull (#% all the time helps alot to. I was on phone for 1:30 mins them my dad gets on and did it in 30mins, then after they gave us the monitor he told em how incompetent they where, it was very funny.

they don't have a department for Returns or warranty obligations. That department is the 2hour + run around

its hard to keep your cool with them also. especially after listening to their G D "help suguestions" for an hr and 45 min. :disgust:

I hear you man its Nuts that 2 hour marathon came only after 2 weeks of me trying to email and talk to them online if you just buy a monitor its like being the ugly chick trying to get into a hot night club. They don't know how to think for themselfs they have a list that you must pass befor you get any help then when you tell them o its just the monitor they trasfer you to some one else to do it all over agin..... Just ask em what is the warranty on the monitor when they tell you what it is then tell them your problem that way you got em! they have to give it to you.

Dell Homes support sucks. If you're forced to call back, choose Dell Business and get talking to an actual service rep. By the time they look up the monitors info and figure out that your not a business customer, they're so far deep into the process that they end up doing it for you anyway. I did that with my brother-in-laws laptop when I had to get a keyboard replaced.

Or if you know a Dell Tech, they can login and just order the parts for you. We're all certified at work and it's so much easier. Only problem is, they'll ship the part with the techs ID, so he/she is liable if the broken part doesn't get returned. So make sure if someone does a favor for you, that you return the part.
