Dell D600 or 600m??

I'm torn between the two but what's the MAIN difference between those two?? I'll use it mainly on windows, DVD and light gaming from time to time.

What vid card does the 600M carry now?? I remembered as it was an Intel 855 Chipset of some sort. I might be wrong.

Anybody that own either units care to comment?

I'm not a big fan of either notebook (H have used both and I think they have awful keyboards/touchpads), but if you must choose, choose the D600.

The D600 has a magnesium alloy LCD housing, while the 600m only has cheap, thin plastic there. The D600 has a trackstick if you can't stand the lousiness of the trackpad.

The 600m's only advantage is the option of a 64 MB Radeon 9000, while the D600 is stuck with the 32 MB model.

Both models use the 855PM chipset.

If you can sacrifice the Radeon 9000, consider a ThinkPad T40 or R40.

IBM is another alternative. If I can get a good price then I'll jump on IBM. It seems that I can configure a better system with Dell at the same price. I would definately go for IBM if I had the bankroll.

What's this problem with all Dell's keyboards that I keep reading about. I've used my friend's dell lappy and it was alright. Maybe that's because I'm not used a IBM or other.
