Dell D500 and 500M available in U.S.

Both the D500 and 500M are available in the U.S. now. I think they just added the D500 today. Not sure when they added the 500M.

The integrated video on these models versus the separate video card for the 600M and D600 sounds like a major disadvantage. I wonder what type "real world" decrease in performance one would recognize with this integrated video which uses system ram versus the separate video card?
 
I'd agree. This is definitely one of those laptops where the difference between games and work becomes a large factor in purchasing.
 
600 series are good for people who want an all purpose machine, and 500 series are for those who just want an office machine.
