Dell customer service. Lap top order.

I am having problems with Dell. I ordered a refurbished Vostro 1500 notebook. I can't get any shipping info from them. It has been 8 business days since my order was "shipped". According to Dell it is being transported to the carrier. When that happens I will be given a tracking number. I wonder who the carrier is that is transporting it to the second carrier. Shipping was supposed to take 3-5 days. One of the reasons I ordered a refurbished model was because they said they could ship right away being that the notebook was in stock (they don't have to build it). After reading Dell's reseller rating I am beginning to realize I may have made a mistake. Anybody else out there have a similar experience? How did you get it resolved? If at all. Thanks.
 
If you paid by CC I would personally call the CC company to have them issue a chargeback (dispute the charges) as they have violated the agreement, it seems. Before you do that, make sure to re-read all the fine print of the agreement you signed into when you paid.

This is the answer I get after 3 phone calls. I am still waiting for an email response.
 
their general outsourced customer service is crap. You'll have better luck contacting dell support for small business.
 
Well, I take back almost everything I said. The notebook was delivered three days after I ordered it. Our mail room here at work had a mix up. But my Dell account kept saying it had not been delivered yet. Go figure. The notebook is really a beauty. It is a lot faster than a Vista model I had returned to Best Buy before. Thanks to all who responded.
